Today, I have been mostly making full use of the mini-heatwave here and cranked the twin into life for a much needed replenishment of Yorkshire tea bags from the local shops about four miles away.

Decided to run the long way home via my elderly parents house and have ended up with a sunburnt forehead!!

Still loving that car.. love

Today I am going to continue making a support for oil tw radiator, so I decided to spent at Goodrige France to buy 5m Feed pipe inside diameter 12.7 mm and after 10 minutes of waiting I perceive that there is a sign indicating that it only sells to professionals, so I resort to find elsewhere pipe, I do not have time to re-route the tw seller came to see me the parking lot to ask me there I needed something, he sold my black hose 5 m away at a great rate. in his life helps a lot to have a mtw.

Today I was stopped by armed police:

I was taking advantage of the twin benefits of nice weather and being off-work alone. I decided to do another of my jaunts woohoo to the curiosities of Yorkshire. I took in the Humber Bridge; the lighthouse at Paull, a road that didn't exist, the curiously-named Sunk Island and Spurn Point.

I am getting used to smiles, questions and waves. Even thumbs up from parked-up traffic police.

But on the way back from Spurn Point 2x cop cop drew up alongside. The first thing I noticed was their holstered side-arms, which for those of you in the States is unusual in the UK (Edit: it is the side-arms that are unusual not the fact they were holstered! Hate for you to think that UK traffic stops are like the OK Corral scared ).

The second thing I noticed was the insignia of the MOD Police. Unusual to stop a civilian without a military base in sight.

Then they very politely asked if the car was a Morgan 3 wheeler and could they take some photo's on their phones! camera

And I thought that driving the 5-speeder couldn't get any weirder!

Good grief, this means there are now 2 MTW's in West Yorkshire!

Unless anyone else knows different.

Lake Como today!

Great views but first and second gear driving.

Peter "Gambalunga" diagnosed my noisy rear as a dry drivebelt over the phone, great help and shows me as an amateur.

Over 400 km yesterday gave numb bums!

Arms sunburnt!

Told you this driving in hot summer weather was a dodgy business!
Dead jealous really, been driving about in the fog and mist today, now having breakfast at the Lairhillock before heading for the vintage/classic thing at Crathie.

Beautiful day in Vermont! Rains have cleaned off the roads and there is no tractor trailer traffic to dodge. Winter was hard and the frost heaves and multiple periods of long hard freezes have taken their toll. Roads are in bad shape and many need to be redone but only patches have been budgeted for.

What can I say? I love this slice of the U.S. and can't picture being anywhere else. That being said, I will admit most strongly that the so-called 'comfort' kit was worth it as well as the Blockley tires in front instead of the Avon sidecar tires. What a world of difference. These should be stock! So the car will now drive where I point it and not take off into the ditch or opposing traffic anymore. Some of the pot holes and bumps are threatening to take out my internal organs, kidneys being number one!

Smiles, hoots, honks and multiple thumbs up from all the bikes on the road today. Even the spring bugs are down in evidence!

All in all, a very good day. Have a nice growler of Citra's IPA to look forward to as well!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
