Thanks for the pics and I like the colour.

Looking forward to hearing about the trip to the (old) Hebrides.

The local had a few pints and Ernie used to take out a bucket of ale for the horse. after a few hours the pair of them would be seen wandering home from one side of the street to the other. Lovely story Roger. The Talbot was 5 minutes walk from my Mum & Dad's home. I never knew Ernie's surname, but he and June, his wife were fantastic hosts.
I once heard Ernie descibing to an American tourist couple, the skirmish that supposedly happened during the Civil Wars; resulting in a musket ball hole in the Dining Room panelling!

My Dad and I usually had our first pint in the Royal Oak, then back home via the Feathers and finally the Talbot.
cheers

Warm welcome to TM Biffo - as you can see it's a good "shed" and tangential skews abound but it's all part of the fun.

Congratulations on a lovely choice of colour, enjoy your miles drive thumbs

Biffo - I apologise for continuing off topic!

Bud - we drove through Ledbury again the other week so we could drive over the top passed British Camp to go on the Devamog factory tour. Brought it all back to me. Funny you mention the story about the musket ball - Ernie didn't just keep that story for the Americans! I remember him telling us and everybody new who turned up! Think I need to go back and stay and see if the current landlord tells the same story...
