Not everyone thought so stirpot

What were they thinking?
Morgan’s hoods still look like they’ve been hand stitched by my blind grandmother. And the bright orange on the already aesthetically challenged Aero 8 is simply a step too far.

I think colour is a very personal issue what one person may love love another will dislike with a passion swear

The point being buying a Morgan is a very individual decision and the company can fullfill those desires at a very reasonable cost spend

Orange may be what this paticular owner has always wanted so on good on him/her winky

The fact that we can be individual is one of the benefits of being British uk

I don't expect eveyone to understand why I own a Morgan and love it the way I do (no matter what colour it is) oldgit

PS Might help if the wife did oops

Seeing it in the metal as I did in build last week, the colour looks a lot nicer than it does in the photos - looks a bit flat. It's just one of those colours thats hard to convey on film..

Nothing wrong with giving these things a go though, and much more fun than the factory giving it a 'stock' paint job. Better to be talked about than not talked about. The Aero has always courted controversy, so making sure it continues to do so just by painting one orange is a shrewd idea me thinks.

Think they missed a trick though - clearly it's possible (see the blue Aeromax) to have the wipers (and probably all the chrome) powder coated in matt black, which I think would have been a great contrast, rather than the chrome on the orange..

Or maybe I'm just bonkers(!)

Bollocks. It looked stunning in the sunshine. I do have reservations about what it would look like on a grey day in December when it's pissing down but most Morgans don't see the light of day on such occasions

That report is by a 'Car Reader' so whilst it is posted I think is a load of rubbish. It starts with 'Morgan has been making the same car since the Ark' which I think sets the scene ...

I was on the stand and outside the stand looking in for a long time yesterday, and I mean a long time, probably over an hour. In all that time the response was predominantly positive. There were the odd 'ooh I don't like that colour' comments but virtually always accompanied by 'oh I love it' by a colleague (well happened three times whilst I was outside the stand looking in).

Granted I would think that less than half those that love the colour would not buy it in that colour but this car was built to attract attention and that it did! A great contrast to the stunning black Sport 4/4 and the Lifecar and Aeromax in Mercury Silver. A great combo of cars.

Agreed! Whilst I think it looks fantastic I doubt whether I would specify that colour. Strange? confused
