Bit new to this topic.

Having owned a noisy car for 10+years you can work wonders with the appliance of science even listen to music / audio books etc dare I say it even the radio!! even at 70+ with the top down.

I look forward to the Morgan challenge...

For those who are against all things fangled and modern what are you doing on this website or even dare I say driving a car. hide

No I will not be thinking about growing a set of ears just below my knees!

There again I think I may just tune into the engine and the bodywork and suspension in my first days innocent

Before I spend any ££ on fitting a "sound system" to Aldermog I want to go for a drive in a car with audio and see if it really is worth the effort.

Aldermog has nothing fitted. So to do a reasonable job will involve much work.

When driving longer distances using Moterway, my passenger (wife, daughter or son) use noise cancelling earphones connected to their i-phone and Driver uses earplugs. On other roads and at lower speeds I enjoy the sound of engine and exhaust. Plus of course the quality conversation wt my passenger. Never ever felt the need to equip my Roadster wt audio equipment.
Kind regards,
Bert

At Motorway speeds the stereo is a bit pointless but at anything less the 100 km/h (60 mph) it is nice to have some MP3s playing on a USB Pen Drive. A pity there are not a couple of small speakers installed next to the seats though. They could supplement the foot well speakers nicely.

I guess it really depends how you use your Morgan. If you use it for short sprints maybe a stereo is not worth while but if you use it for touring, the way we do, stereo and aircon (yes we do use it in the summer heat) are well worth considering.

If I put a radio in ( That's if) It would be better to get something like a Garmin 660 ( sat nav) onto which you can load pictures/ video/ music and use a head set
( so no speakers required)
Or just use it as a straight sat nav.

I don't really want to spoil my dash with a radio

Peter,
I thought I'd have you listen to mine at Waddesdon last we. Send me a pm if you're around London in the coming weeks.
:-)
