On a 2007 car where is what is the best way to wire the Piezo buzzer in? Did it on my last one 1995 +4 with the side light feed and indication but have the joys a PCB circuit board to contend with..

Do a search on the web for a remote battery isolator. This connects on the battery post like a manual cut off switch but is supplied with a couple of remote fobs. Now this has several advantages in that you can disconnect the battery thus removing the dreaded flat battery from the high drain associated with mog's when parked up. secondly because of where the battery is located it becomes a dead mans switch for security purposes but the added advantage for you is if you left the lights on by accident when the battery reaches a certain level of drain it automatically switches off to protect your starting current level.

Hi,
Yes a friend was going to use one for his Range Rover which was playing up.

In the end I used a fuse tap on the wiper fuse on one side and the other off the power to the cigar lighter. - Success Buzzer when lights left on

Many thanks

If the buzzer is simply to remind you of headlights left on, as with earlier cars not having them wired through the ignition switch, why not correct that situation, precluding need for buzzer [Linked Image]. The ignition switch takes the load on later cars without use of relay so it's a very simple wiring re-route job.

The light stalk switch usually accommodates separate power feeds for sidelight and headlamps so a simple matter of ensuring latter is fed from fused ignition switch feed.
