That's good Matty , hopefully once it's there it won't take too long .

I had a call from Mark Cerrone this afternoon to say mine is all back together and sorted . It's due to have a final check over tomorrow , and then just delivery to arrange .

After my initial frustrations , it has all gone very smoothly and quicker than I expected . Mark has made a lot of effort to keep me informed of progress and ensure I'm happy with everything .

Can't wait to get out in it again and see how the Suplex kit performs smile

Thanks for the info HJP
I spoke to Mark yesterday. Nice chap and gave me an assurance they would get it sorted. I'm hoping they can get it into the workshop next week. Don't want to miss the summer. I'm keeping everything crossed

This really sounds like a bit of a ticking time bomb for those of us who have early cars, I wonder if there's a way replicating the rigidity/ triangulation of the 2014 chassis with some bolt on structure that could be retrofitted to existing cars as a preventative measure?

Can it be that the cracks are caused by the torsion due to braking ?
If you drive (even slowly) and brake see how the wishbones are moving I can imagine that this gives even more tension on the frame than the shocks from a bad road.

That is a very novel idea Laurens, and one that hasn't been thought of yet, though the factory may have worked that out. The braking forces certainly can't help if the chassis is weak in that area already.
