Kiln dried sand in the gaps and no sealer. +1. The sealer looks a bit artificial and needs regular re-sealing. Best time to re-sand is mid summer.It is a hot dusty job. I pay a nice man from Poland to do it.

My neighbour had his redone then coated. They left a load of sand &c. all down my driveway - had things been the other way around he'd have been banging on my door insisting the mess was cleared up... My driveway is more crazy paving - old concrete that has various cracks running across it...

If I did it in the Spring, that might take us somewhere near back on subject! Thanks for all the tips. Wasn't there a radio programme that did something like this - tangents then back to subject?
