The Avons on my Aeromax are 6 yrs old so replacing them with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Reviews are very positive for both dry/wet road use.

I had SuperSports on the Alpina - and they were astonishly good in terms of outright grip.

I have plenty of tread on mine - so won't be shopping for replacements any time soon.

Super Sports on a Supersports - now that will be confusing! laugh

They look almost like semi-slicks - I wonder how they cope with wet roads (not that I like taking white cars out in the rain...).

Second the AD08 option. Make sure you get the road version rather than the softer R rated version (which have just become available). Assuming you want a more road boast tyre - well slightly biased anyhow

+2 on the AD08

Echo Andrew's comment on the R version being VERY soft. Have just put a set on a classic mini - after a good blast they feel like chewing gum, you can actually poke your thumb into the tyre surface. Wouldn't want to park on gravel...

I had Pilot Super sports on the Z4M roadster, but they seem to get favoured for the heavier cars.
Toyo R888's on the west field's, but here the general view was that the lighter the car the better, but i would have thought that the Mog would count at light? Found these OK for the road, did le mans on them in the rain from Cambridgeshire but standing water was the big issue with them
Toyo T1R's on the Aero 8 at the mo and while not yet really pushing it (less than a week in my hands), it does go sideways easily enough but felt really natural and controllable.

I had a set of OZ Ultraleggeras on the Z4 (3.0) for track use. As mentioned, with standing water they are shocking. Saying that though, everyone I have spoken to has said that the Avons aren't great in those conditions. I suspect that is down to the lack of weight.

Any track biased tyre would probably work well on the Aero due to low weight

I've currently got Pirelli Corsa on the Lambo - very good tyres so will explore these for the Mog too.

I have a pair of Pirelli Corsa's on one of my bikes they are multi compound ...that is to say hard in the middle soft on the outside the grip wet / dry is excellent .. not sure if they make them for the Aero listening

We'll soon see - plan on sorting all this out next month.
