Hi,
The Zuid-Holland (Zeeland) mog club is going to Bruges (Belgium) this weekend for eats, drinks and a bit of touring in the vicinity. Fun. It's an overnighter, and I was wondering how best to group the cars in the hotel parking lot. I am concerned about safety and vandalism. Anybody have any tips on how to circle the wagons? thx

The Belgians are honest and respect quality. The worst the Mogs will suffer is to be photographed.

But I wouldn't leave a Mog on the side of the road, a carpark, preferably one with some sort of security is a good idea. Either that or chain them all together and draw lots to see who will stay up all nght as "security" cheers

I work on the principle that a Morgan is such a special car that it gains respect, even from thieves and vandals. Having said that we do always try to get off-street parking. So far, so good thumbs

To my mind this is an issue that should not cause stress otherwise we would never move the cars out of their garages. If something does happen that is why we have insurance.

Enjoy the trip and don't worry.

I agree with Peter and with a prudent choice of overnight stops, we've never had a problem.
At one hotel in Brittany, the owner even offered to take his own car out of the garage so we could use it for Stanley

I'm 100% with Peter as well. If it doesn't feel right don't stay there otherwise let the insurance company worry about it.

I have never had a problem with a car in Belgium. They are a steady lot with decent values and always give the Mog a thumbs up. The risk is generalising, naughty people of different cultures/dominions are often displaced, unless they have an Asbo bracelet of course !

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
