I was out in the Mog today (as I am most days if it's not hosing it down...). The main thing is that I finally managed to give the old girl a good wash and buff up. It had got to the stage that she was so dusty that I was starting to worry that her photo would appear in a Classic car magazine in the "barn finds" section. JTL certainly wouldn't have approved !!!
Mind you, I had a lucky escape on Sunday night. We had such a deluge that the house was partially flooded. The rain was so heavy that the sewers under the main road were full, with the manhole covers lifting and a 15ft high geyser blowing up around them. With nowhere else to go the water took a detour down our alley, at the bottom of which is chez Pandy. We had 6 inches of water in the old stable, the garage had a couple of inches of water on the floor and the cellar was just starting to flood when the rain eased up and the water started to recede. Phew.

Just a quick run from the factory to the Three Counties Showground to deliver one of the Three Wheelers for the stand. I must say that the more I drive these cars, the more tempted I am!
The stand looks great....even though it was just being set up, the cars were getting plenty of attention. Wish I was there today.

.........I need to get a second garage built! Its on my bucket list. Would I swop my bike for a MTW though? I'm doing less biking these days...just long trips a couple of times a year and my incident on the motorway a couple of weeks ago did make me think a bit more about vulnerability as it was a very close call. So, who knows...I may yield to temptation one day but only when all the issues are sorted. I'd still keep a bike for pottering about and that would be a modern Bonnie.
