Great picture.
With regard to the outer edge of the pulley being removed, I wonder if it is really needed? Sure it keeps the belt on, but as the belt is unlikely to come right off anyway, and will only overlap by a few mm, and only causes friction with the retainer in place, perhaps that's why they chose to remove it. I was looking at mine the other day, and wondered the same thing.
Dan you are probably unaware that Morgan reduced the original pre-production rear tyre from 185 to 175 for production cars because of clearance problems, I wonder if it will eventually go down to 165?

I recognise that couple Raphael, must be a quarter ponder making you a Big Mac and I am Donald.
The smaller tyre sounds a good option.
With extra weight on the luggage rack the rear tyre will have had a slightly fatter profile at the bottom perhaps and I tried to keep it spinning!!
