Unfortunately the bumper height is something you have to putup with if you want a Morgan in Canada. If you want a newer car it has to come from the US.
My '93 Plus 8 came into the US with Federalised bumpers and turn signals, but has been changed. Where the bumpers exit the wings at front, the round turn signals have been fitted, and at the rear, the bumper exit holes have been filled with aluminum welded in and painted to match. So the Euro bumpers and brackets fit fine. However, I've removed my bumpers, think it looks better. Another Morgan owner, local to me, also has a '98, and he's also had his changed like mine (after he saw mine), but also has bumpers removed now.

Same thing for both my 81 4/4 and 86 Plus 8. Turn indicators in the front holes and blanked off holes when I removed the rear bumpers. No bumpers now, just over riders on both cars. Not sure what the Canadian rules are, but this is OK in the US. Cheers.

Ordered the battery yesterday morning, it arrived this morning, great service. Found the battery in Ontario $50 less than in Detroit and free shipping couldn't believe it. Still need to source the wipers then register the car, safety and etest
