Same for me on the luggage rack option John frown
I can't see another option for the front of the car that doesn't risk reducing air flow to the rad, as Alan has already said.

Sorry to hear about you gran Giles, but as others have said 109 is a good innings. I visited my dad today in the care home. It's quite depressing really, each visit he gets a little worse and there's no dignity in old age. In effect he's waiting for God, though not with the same humour as the TV series of the same name a few years ago, sadly.

Sorry you'll miss the LMC, it would have been good to meet up for a chat.

I think you will find that Deano will be on the same ferry.
There will also be four of us at Portsmouh for the St Malo ferry.

Giles
Such sad news, but a life to be celerated; 109! Wonderful.

Jays
Stanley has many other excellent features!

Thank you all for the kind thoughts. It was indeed an extraordinary innings, and she was mostly lucid to the end. To die in your own bed surrounded by your nearest and dearest of straightforward old age without having suffered any illness is indeed a wonderful thing.

The funeral will indeed be a celebration - my grandmother was always a party girl

Giles that is truly remarkable. My aunt was just the same and was saying in the run up to her passing away about what she thought about her long life and what kept her going through it all was the reply "The best is yet to come".

Budster,

Thank you. We will in a Sand Roadster Sport and will probably arrive at the terminal quite early so will look out for other TM'ers.
