There is a glimpse of Morgan in the new advertisement for Stella Artois' Cidre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkKQfVAS538I don't think that I need to taste the product to know that it is industrially produced rubbish propped up by a massive marketing budget. Give me Aspall Cyder any day.

I cannot do the pant rotting stuff any more. I do however take extreme exception to the sugar delivery system that is being sold as fruit infused Cidre/Cider now. They should have an introduction leaflet to the Diabeties Association on the label. One stop short of hard drugs (Red Bull)
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

+2 This is good: Leckford Cider Made less than 30 miles from my house and with no marketing budget. It is clean slightly sharp and dry, but not mouth puckering. Not a traditional cider apple, but they have lots of Cox trees on their farm and the ones too small to sell used to go to waste. Now they don't. Chilled it is rather nice on a hot summers day.

Every year I take a large box of Cox's Orange Pippin apples from Leckford back to France. Delicious.

Anyone visiting the George & Dragon at Clyst St George (a favoured venue for Fossilmog Noggins) should drive down the hill to Green Valley Cider. ( www.greenvalleycyder.co.uk) Very tasty.
