The acceleration figures are close to what I expected (about the same as a 1982 Porsche 944 - 7.2sec/15.1sec). Was a maximum speed given?

Peter,
They list top speed as 100 mph (drag limited, C/D est) This is a 'feature' article, does not have the full half page of specs. 300 ft/dia skidpad 0.74 G. A Prius C does 0.79 G. pantsdown
(I ALWAYS DOWNSHIFT when next to a Prius) drive

They add "But the numbers say nothing about how satisfying it is to hurl the little Morgan into a corner" It's a good read, they 'get' it. grouphug

I just wish the numbers were a smidge better ...

thumbs cheers

Interesting figures. I assume they dyno'd the car to get the engine output? The factory figure is misleading as it doesn't state if it's at the flywheel as quoted for a car, or the rear wheel as quoted normally for a motorcycle. The weight seems to have grown from 525kg to 575kg!

Very odd. I cannot see any reason why the American M3W's weight would differ from that of the European version, and our Swiss friend reported recently that his tipped the scales at 535kg.

Perhaps it was weighed with a (lightweight) driver on board!
