Drove down from Leeds to Portsmouth enroute to Le Mans, a good run and over 41mpg. Bonus
41mpg - blimey, how slow were you going today!! Good luck with the journey. We are leaving on Friday morning on the Newhaven-Dieppe crossing - myself, mate Dave in his ex-Scottish VM08GAN (used to belong to someone on here) and another friend in a Ferrari 400i. What are the chances of those 3 making it to La Sarthe and back without breaking down then....?!
On board the ferry, weather fair sea like a mill pond. Averaged just over 60 mph on the way down with no stops or hold ups. I was surprised too with 41 mpg as I struggle to get 30 around town and hooning about.
From Bunbeg in Donegal down to Black Sod in Mayo via various diverse places... A grand day out, albeit with some mixed weather but at least the rain in Ireland is warmer than I'm used to.
