I agree 100%

In Australia around all schools on a school day in the morning and afternoon it is 40 kmph. This is strictly enforced. Works well.

Except on a main road into the city where they have fenced both sides of the road to stop the little Bs running into the traffic. With 6 lanes of peak hour traffic and the impossibility of any little idiot running into the road what is the point of posting a 40 limit.

Actually the main offenders are parents driving their children to school instead of making them walk or take public transport.

I could go on at great lengths about the failings in child education but I will stop here.

Rant over oldgit soapbox
