Will possibly be relocating to Australia and wondering what the classic vehicle scene is like there, both bike and car. Would like to live in an area where there is some actve clubs and rallies, unlike here in Switzerland where it is virtually non existant.
The Club operates in Queensland, NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia, so if you aim for one of the capital cities in one of those states you will have live contact with Morgan people.
If you look at the calender on the MOCA website you can get an idea of where most of the activity is. But I think it fair to say there will be more activity in the larger state capital cities.
My wife and I have found the Sydney MOCA people very welcoming and friendly.
Many many car marques have clubs here and I am sure with some Googleing you will find bike clubs as well.

You will find a very receptive group in Aus no matter where you go. Your lifestyle will depend on where you are relocating to, as one side of the country to the other is a long 3 day drive. If you live on the west coast, we are very remote even within our own state, and it can be 2 - 3 hours between towns.
If you are a M3W owner, you will need to check before you try to bring your car over, as it may not be allowed on the road.
Which part of Australia, as already noted it is quite big...see below.
That said the classic scene is huge for both bikes and cars. If you search on my Gingin, Pinjara and Cottesloe Car show pictures on here (all in WA) you'll be amazed how many there are and how many cars attend each. I think it is down to the climate, in that they can be used, and do not rust! Also with so many expats (at some point in their history) the cars have tended to come too.
Each state has slightly different rules when it comes to getting a car on the road but the import rules are the same regardless of state.
As Al Murray once said "the Aussie's have done up around the edges quite nicely, now they need to pull their finger out and start on the centre!" (or words to that effect).

I was instrumental in founding the Classic Italian Motorcycle Association of Australia http://www.cimaa.asn.au/ and was quite active in the classic scene in NSW, including being part of a consultation group to the NSW authority for motor vehicle registration.
The classic car and bike scene is very active in Australia and most clubs hold regular events. In NSW it is necessary to be travelling to an event to use the vehicle if it has the very low cost classic vehicle registration and insurance. The vehicle can also be used near to home for maintenance purposes or on a longer trip provided the trip is entered in the club register. (At least that was the way it was when I left Australia in 2003) Other states have different rules. In SA it used to be possible to do a limited number of trips every year, for any purpose, but each trip had to be entered into an official log book that was carried with the car. I don't know if that is still the same.
In NSW to be registered under the classic system a vehicle has to be older than 30 years and in Victoria it was 25 years. I don't recall for other states. Many owners of classics still use regular registration to avoid the restrictions of various classic systems.
If you are thinking of importing a vehicle into Australia you must do the paper work correctly. Let me know if that is the case and I will send you some links to important information.
Obviously the scene is most active in the capital cities but many major regional centres also have active clubs. As previously mentioned Australia is a big country. Where is it that you are thinking of moving to?
