Yes, and our UK security specialists have responded by concluding the easy way is to check everyone with an electronic device.
One reporter suggested allowing an extra 2 to 3 hours at check in.

These are the guys that think you can make a bomb with a bottle of water and a deodorant. They have not yet been able to demonstrate just how it can be done but in the mean time all containers of liquids and creams over 100ml are confiscated.
