I guess if I owned a M3W I'd know this, but alas, I don't. If you corner the M3W hard enough, the door handles will be worn off in no time... But seriously, I infer that Bert from the Nederlands has one of those unconventional Morgans with four wheels and they do have doors, though I don't know why - they'd look much better without them. So he's saying that the four-wheelers can have leather to cover the inner door handle surrounds, but any Morgan can have a leather covering for the component on which the steering wheel is mounted (there is a word for that but I forget it for the moment).

The factory did mine on the Plus 4 at a price of £60 plus VAT. Pretty expensive for a fairly simple job using some bits of scrap leather. To be fair it was probably an hour's work by the time it was made and fitted.
PS. That did not include the door handles

You can do it yourself with aerosol adhesive, and a bit of patience, but you will need thin leather to stretch round the corners. Scroll down on this thread: http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/161072/Mr_Bumble_Phase_4#Post161072

the amount of curves in the 3w's cover makes for a really difficult wrap even with thin leather compared to the plastic covers on the 4 wheelers which have broader surfaces. fingers crossed the factory steps up and is willing to take more money from me. always surprised how much money they leave on the table from not doing more bespoke options and letting guys like rutter and williams do the work instead of them. go figure.

Hello, Blake: I trundled the 308 on saturday to Caffeine&Octane and saw a knockout partial steering wheel leather cover on a Kirkham Cobra.. even tough this does not apply to the steering stalk cover, it may be worth your consideration. Check out FFcars.com, and bring up "Tangent" under advertisers. I do plan to use this on my factory M3W, once all issues are resolved, or on my own build. I do regret having missed out on yours. Regards, Tom

Hi Blake, I contacted both Williams and Rutter about a year ago, as I also wanted to cover my plastic steering column...
Unfortunately, both of them said that they need the car in shop...and that they can't ship a covered cover for remote install....
