Anyone who reads this will know that I am displeased with the hassle I have had with my M3W. I have done nothing wrong apart from entrust a lot of money to MMC indirectly.
I am voting with my feet and selling (or trying to) a car now sorted. I know I will lose money, very few cars appreciate.
Collectively we really now need to apply some pressure to MMC, maybe there are not enough people who feel as strongly as me but we shall see.
Anyone wish to pm me?

Even owners without problems should get behind this. It's only a matter of time before your Morgan goes on the fritz.

I too think we have paid a premium price for a poorly engineered product, it has cost me 2K + time just to get it to drive in a straight line never mind go around corners.
I have had 2 major failures, 1 in this country at MMC no less so had to get the train home, another £70. They did run me to the station though.
The other, in France, which took the edge off a 5 day trip to Le Mans Classic.
Now my quiet BB is screaming at 50 & 70 mph.
I think the least MMC could do is to re-emburse existing MK1 owners for sorting their own cars out at their own expense and extending the warranty to 5 years.
When all his sh1t gets out into the wider motoring press what effect will it have on residuals even if they can be sold at all.
I for one would have probably graduated to a +4 when I grew up but I am having serious doubts now.
To be fair the concept, and build quality on my car anyway is faultless. It's just been engineered by a 3 year old.

Perhaps the tile "action" is a bit ironic?

What is your game plan?
Perhaps knowing that might motivate more owners to get involved

Hi Donald,
I think you're right. We paid good money for these toys. But we got treated like schoolboys by MMC. No answers on emails, no support on questions which are on the forum, no decent service manual, no spare parts, and much too many breakdowns. Till so far I need to admit that we didn't had any serious problems with our M3W's ( knock on wood ) but when we read all the problems on the forum one get a mixed feeling when planning a long trip. What you had in mind to do to hold MMC responsible ? Perhaps an open letter to them with all the things mentioned and put them responsible for it. This open letter you also place on the forum. Looks to me they need to write a kind of answer. Perhaps that will change things in the right direction. Best regards Laurens

I was planning on ordering mine in november, and must admit I'm a little nervous. but on the plus side i live 10 miles from a dealer. so if i have issues with it, its not a hassle to get it fixed. but also for the same price i can get the new c7 corvette. I'm still planning on the morgan but some days i really ask if its a smart move. I'm hoping the new 14 model is much better as for as build quality goes
