I don't know anything about the film but many of the games involve racing on public roads involving police pursuits.

Am I the only one to think that the shutting down of a motorway for a publicity stunt for something that will only encourage irresponsible behaviour is not a good idea?

They probably paid the police a good deal of money....the police will do anything for money! I hope they kept them strictly to the speed limit!

When they first opened The M6 Toll the average speed and driving standard was possibly the inspiration for the computer game. I watched groups of cars pass me doing at least 120 on many occasions.

The truth may be stranger than fiction in this case !

Even now 100mph is not uncommon. No wonder they have increased the use of unmarked cars.

There are often speed cameras set up on the bridges! I've seen cops waiting at the main toll plaza to pull cars in. There seemed to be a general misconception that as it is a privately owned road, the speed limits don't apply......wrong!
