Great vids!!enjoyed seeing the Wrapping - skillful and grt result!
wonder how much that cost to do??!!!
Wrapping varies from company to company, then also depending what material you use. The M3W needed around 12m of vinyl and took 1.5 days to do properly with 2 guys so cost is shy of £1k. A full size car tends to be around £1,500.
Best advantage is that it could be done in a day or just over, so in my case for a few months over the summer before reverting it straight back to factory afterwards.
If it's purpose is for advertising I can see why it's required, but it just seems a lot of faff for nowt otherwise.
I don't know much about the M3W specifically from this point of view, but to respray a car like my McLaren would be £15k, whereas a wrap is £1,500 on, and £200 off. £1,700 is a lot less than the £30k two-way respray.
What would a respray of the M3W actually be? Can it really be done inside £1k??? (Certainly not two-ways)
Shmee, wrap looks great although I preferred the willow green, but blues good too.
Thanks for the video as well interesting to see the wrapping in process. You need the straight pipes by the way and then it'll sound like that all time
So it does get louder then...! I sort of thought this was about as loud as you'd want to go, I definitely couldn't be louder as a central London living car!
It probably is as loud as most people want to go but I have had TVRs and Lotus and heard the word sport with exhaust and went for it, very noisy. I fashioned some dB killers which are removable but it still sounds like a spitfire
