Ride over passes in the Swiss Alps

Because of the hot weather my son and I decided to drive over a few passes in the Alps. We drove over Gotthard Pass (2106 m) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotthard_Pass, , Nufenen Pass (2478 m) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nufenen_pass, Grimsel Pass (2165 m) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grimsel_pass and finally Susten Pass (2262 m) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susten_pass. Because all Passes are higher than 2000 meters there was a comfortable temperature. Down in the valleys the temperature reached 30 degrees!
Attaches some impressions…

This is the old part of the Gotthard Pass road, called Tremola. My concern was more about the screws and bolts on my Roadster: “Do they remain at the place the should…” confused2 They did happy3

Wonderful shots....they bring back so many happy memories although sagely on my GS rather than a Morgan.

Lovely shots, I must admit I'm rather jealous. When we went down to our place in the Alps in the Mog in July 2011 it was grey and overcast practically the whole time, and rained quite a lot - even snowed one night above 1800m (the altitude of our apartment there). I never thought I'd find myself eating tartiflette and raclette & so on in the summer, but it was just the ticket with the weather we had.

Still, we had a lovely time driving the alpine roads.
