For a comparison between the narrow bodied 4/4 and 3 wheeler (which I am assuming you're replacing?):

I have both the 3-wheeler is much wider in the garage (front axle length) than the narrow bodied 4/4. I surprised me how much; I had a slight panic the week before I took delivery!

However the feel in the cockpit of the 4/4 is palatial compared to the snugness of the 3-wheeler. You really feel the room.

I don't think I could easily fit a wide-bodied trad in the gargae with the 3-wheeler.

Glad to see you Mogbile again Richard !

Donald - the 4/4 sport (2009 at least) is very narrow in the cockpit. Putting her into 1st and 2nd involves stroking the thigh of my passenger. As a result, I am banned from giving young ladies a lift.

Having compared my 4/4 with the old Rosie (+8) there is a big difference in the overall width due to the width of the wheel-arches. I can't remember the exact measurement, but it was about 2" each side
Having followed a 4/4 up Sidbury Hill to our recent Noggin, it really did confirm my personal preference for the narrow look of the 4/4.

Richard,
Congrats on the new car! Unfortunately, I'm otherwise occupied next Saturday - would have made a good run out in the Mog.

Looks a goodn', like the alloys with the Blue, I agree about the Fog and reverse lights and replaced mine for same reason on my +8 with ones I found at Holdens.

Enjoy the car cheers

I am better off in a LHD car. Thigh touching only occurs when putting her in fifth gear. Fortunately, swmbo has not noticed that this happens beyond the skirt lifting velocity. happy3

So Richard. Will you be retaining the moniker 4/4sportsfun ? Or are you up every night trying to think up a new alias ? I suppose it could be 4/4sportsgone.

Interestingly the 3.7 Roadster on the MMC stand at Silverstone had alloys and the rear wings looked the same width as the Plus 4 on wires.
