Wish we could find my Sister's Banjolin (originally owned by the same old boy that made my guitar). Have a feeling Uncle / Aunt may be storing it after Mum moved north, but have forgotten about it...

just as I thought - Morgans and Classic guitars go together. I had a sunburst les paul standard from the 70s but sold it in a weak moment. I bought a 63 Stratocaster at kitchens in Leeds for £175 cash in 1975. unfortunately a previous owner had stripped off the salmon pink and left it 'natural' (ie homebase pine colour with Brillo pad scratches. oh well.) past gigging now - did a spell back in the eighties in d.c. and Virginia. now I am planning an informal guitar workshop in my local area (sept or october if any interest). bring your guitar and a small amp and share your favourite riffs.( arrive in a morgan for a complimentary plectrum! ).

Yes two Strats, original Roadhouse Strat, Bonnie Raitt artist edition. Gibson BB King Lucille, a Solophonic which is an electric resonator based on a Telecaster, Dobro F 60 acoustic resonator Guild F 30 American build parlour size acoustic and a Fender F 3 jumbo. Can't play any of them worth tuppence nice collection! I like the idea of a Bonnie raitt Stratocaster (hers looks like mine I think - stripped down brown wood) - do you play slide on it? i have an old Gibson ES 330 which is close enough to lucille for me - but mine is a dark sunburst. and finally a Guild jumbo acoustic - just rings out, love it. Play them both every day. I reckon I can get one of them and a smallish amp into the morgan and hit the road

We could start a group "musical Morganeers" Had a similar thought Keith. Corse we'd need a decent drummer. Any "Ringo"s lurking in the background?? (I'm awaiting a comment from JTL here....) Jeremy

Thanks Nick, I play slide on the Dobro and the Solophonic but not the Bonnie Raitt. I think it would be an insult to her talents for me to try and play slide on her guitar. She is probably one of the best slide players in the world IMHO. Jay as all drummers are mad there must be at least one amongst us surely

Helpful advice welcome!
