I've dropped a note to Shmee suggesting he joins the forum I'm approved and here! Really enjoying driving the M3W, huge numbers of smiles and waves. I'm driving it around London at every opportunity as my 'daily' car, time for a POV video I think too on a sunny afternoon.

Welcome,
We're the pedals moved farther back than the last setting (3 predrilled settinngs). My pedals were on the farthest setting and I felt like I could use a bit more room. Have heard from some people about custom solutions for moving them past the furthest factory setting but that has been on right hand drive cars and for the left drive cars the pedal assembly doesn't play nice with the curved bit of the tranny tunnel vs on the right hand cars that have more room on the right side of the body.

Welcome Shmee, it'll be of great interest for us to follow your ownership journey, hope you manage to put more than a few hundred miles on before it goes?
On the subject of pedals, even rhd cars cannot use the fully back set of holes because the clutch cylinder fouls the tranny tunnel, it looks to me as if the whole pedal assembly needs to be moved further to the right, which may allow the clutch foot to tuck down the side and give a little more length? I'm sure it can be improved with some thought.

Thanks for the welcomes all, sorry I probably should have made my own new thread somewhere rather than hijacking here! Welcome,

B I haven't actually seen in there myself but I assume they are in the furthest position for me. I tend to sit with the driver's seat far back but I'm not at all uncomfortable in the M3W. Welcome Shmee, it'll be of great interest for us to follow your ownership journey, hope you manage to put more than a few hundred miles on before it goes? I've already managed 300-400 miles in 10 days, I'm sure that will add up substantially after summer! So long as it's not raining, I consider it my daily driver as living in central London means the speeds are low enough to not be unpleasant at all.

Schmee, higher speeds are not unpleasant and with a Fairbourne Carriages aero screen it is very good on long journeys.
I hope you have happy and trouble free miles.

Shmee, welcome to TM and the world of 3 wheeler ownership.
One of the lessons I've learnt is the faster you go the less you can hear the passenger screams.

One of the lessons I've learnt is the faster you go the less you can hear the passenger screams. One of my lovely lady passengers did just that. When she felt she could let go of something to hang on to, she let me have it. Good right arm that lady. I played nice until about a half hour later when we approached a round-a-bout and I decided then and there to take it for all it was worth. Went around the damn thing three complete times at speed with the sound of burning rubber and wild engine revs and she screamed the whole time then started laughing at her own antics. Not one complaint since. She finally figured that I would never put her life in peril as I hold mine very dear. Good time.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
