Good stuff. I will raise have just raised a glass of the ThreeWheeler in memory of your M3W.
Enjoy the 4/4, I'm just not convinced that these new-fangled four wheeled things will catch on. laugh

I know Calum,

our special three wheeler juice is just the ticket. Few will ever try!

Thanks for the warning that the 4/4 may never catch on but 77 years of research and development plus a Ford engine have got to give me more of a chance.

Your seaside carport awaits next dine you are on The Scottish Riviera.

Had a beautiful solo drive down to Williams yesterday, to make the most of this cracking summer weather. Hadn't used it since Thrilling up the Hill and having made the decision to go the night before I was almost excited!

Cross country through the Cotswolds in hot sun, tee shirt and sunglasses, with the odd wave given back to the smiles, was the very essence of M3W magical motoring. Got blasted by an impatient Porsche along the Fosse Way only to have to pull up behind him at the temporary lights around the corner, so all that testosterone would be just sitting there fuming whilst I sat in the sun topping the tan up.

The car ran exceptionally. It really did, with nothing untoward making funny noises, vibrating or even threatening to pack up, fall off or give up the ghost.

Down at Williams, Lawrie had the car up on the ramp and the oil weep identified as an S&S oil seal issue. Easily rectified with a few hours spanner work, so car booked in for when he's back from his long haul family holiday.

Several cuppa's later & a good chat with the dogs, I jumped back in and hot two junctions of the M4 before heading back up to Chipping Norton to catch up with a friend for tea.

It's not many days you can drive 150 miles in an open topped car in just a tee shirt here in the UK. Luvverly!!

Car now has just over 3000 miles up, and we're bonding a little deeper every time. Like all good relationships, it just perhaps needs time..

Steve, that must have been a VERY enjoyable day for you...

It's days like that that help build the ole confidence level back up. Who knows, maybe an over-nighter is the future for you.

Congrats on a successful ride... smile smile smile

So it is official a M3W is a bit like owning a boat. A hole into which you pour money. The two best days of ownership like a boat are the day you buy and the day you sell.
Final insult was both mudguard lower stays shearing while approaching the dealer.
Part exchange done and now own a lovely but very slow 4/4.
After 77 years surely the roof, doors and heater will never catch on?!!
