Although a new contributor to this forum, for a couple of months I have been following comments with great interest and am grateful for the knowledge I feel I have gained. I do not yet own a Morgan, but today called at my local dealer, Oakmere Morgan, in Northwich, Cheshire and had an amazing experience in a Plus 4. Oh dear, it was so thrilling to drive that I cannot think of anything else but the roar of the engine, the sight of that long bonnet, and the kick in the back acceleration - and am now plotting how to make a purchase. How do I convince her indoors that our three cars are not enough and really a new Morgan would complete our collection? Any advice from any of you who have bee in same position would be really welcome.

Sell them all and get a 4 seater! 
vMog is a 2013 +4/ 4 seater, dark red with saddle brown trim, wooden dashboard and console.

Actually Jays you are quite right, there are some very nice people who own and drive Morgans [ 4 and 3 wheelers]
More importantly David, and welcome by the way, is to impress on her that the cost of a car is not what you pay for it, but how little you lose when you sell it - if ever.
Keep us informed as to how you get on.

Welcome David, I'd suggest you opt for the "should I get a mistress or a new car darling' approach. I'm not brave enough to try this approach but you might be

Welcome David, indeed Jay's right, there are so many nice people in the Morgan world.
But I think you have to convince her that you are not buying a fourth, but a dream and a perfect hobby. It could also be a piano, sailing boat, it's a passion!
But I think, there's now way back already.......

Isn't this such a common dilemma!  Sell  Problems solved Don't drive a roadster near any spaniels though!

I, almost, used this approach and to this day tell anyone who asks that the car was cheaper than a mistress, and the ensuing divorce as we are not as enlightened as the French. After 33 years of marriage my wife is used to my sense of 'humour' I think she is anyway.
