Three good reasons to buy the Morgan....

1. It will lose far less than almost any other car you can own, especially if bought used.

2. It is NOT a fiar weather toy, it is as sensible as, for example, a Mazda MX5 so can probably replace one of your other three.

3. You will meet one of the most social, civilised and entertaining group of car nuts is is possible to find, both here on TM and through the MSCC and its local groups.

Oh, there is anther reason, possible the most important. It makes you, and everyone who comes in contact with it, smile.

Damn! Our 3 chief weapons are surprise, fear and ruthlessness and a devout following of the Pope.

Jays, she'll just be glad that you came around to her way of thinking. The wives usually get their own way in the end!

Usually? You mean you have had the odd victory?

Yes but when I do (rare) I have the scars to prove it! viking

Peter - Agreed but 2) is not a reason to turn your Morgan into an Mx5 - so put away all ideas of an auto box, and aircon..... somestick
And re-discover your man card grin2

David,
It is clear, you have been infected with the mog virus. The only known relief from the symptoms is owning a Morgan. If she truly loves you, she wants you to feel better and she will accept the cure...

In my case, i had not thought about the above. So, I had to find the classical win-win solution. She got her Steinway and I got the Roadster. We are both still happy wt the outcome! Both have a great sound too!

Have fun!

Suggest a very fast road bike as an alternative.

Then suggest the M3W.

Buy the 4/4 - or whatever four wheel Morgan you like - as the " sensible" choice.
