hello all.
i have spoken to williams morgan regarding a re map to my 2011 roadster, anyone here had it done ?,
be grateful for comments,

Hi Gatewright,
Yes, myself and several others have done the ecu upgrade, i am very enthousiastic about it, car feels liberated and revs more eagerly. I suggest you do a search on 'ecu upgrade' and you will find multiple posts. Specifically Jays wrote in detail on his results on his 2009 3.0 L Roadster. This convinced me to do same on my car which is of similar spec. If you decide to do this, i also recommend to consider to upgrade the air filter. I have done it, and it is great.

Thanks Bert , i dont think i need much convincing but its good to hear first hand experience.
How did the air filter change change the car, did it give more power ?..

vMog is a 2013 +4/ 4 seater, dark red with saddle brown trim, wooden dashboard and console.

As Bert said, I had my 2009 Roadster remapped by Williams. It took the power up from 207 bhp to 220bhp with an increase in torque as well. This is without the induction mods but with Rutters sports silencer boxes. It made the car more tractable and has actually improved fuel consumption a little at cruising speeds.

Did it remove the problem of hanging revs which I have been suffering from in this hot weather.

If you re-map your ECU you may have to inform your insurance company I think.

Plus4 2009 Williams ECU remap. Makes the car more fun to drive. It should leave the factory this way!!

I informed my insurers and there was no increase in premium.....they seemed a bit surprised I'd told them!
Neil......I've never suffered the hanging revs problem apart from the effect of the heavy flywheel.
