Thanks everyone for your helpful and supportive comments. In the end success came down to a new bed - for our bedroom and a new Morgan - for me (well in the next couple of months). Going to visit the Morgan factory in September and will take plunge after that.

Must be an expensive bed!

I can recommend a factory visit before putting in an order - a great place to see the different options. Mind you it can be expensive as you will see options, which you have never thought of, which instantly become essential.
Also try all the Morgans you can - a great chance to drive them all while you are looking.
Enjoy the process of choosing the car and keep us informed how you get on.

Take to your local club noggins.
You won't need to own one to go.....
You will get a lot of encouraging back-up to buy!
We have had some people come to ours for advice/chat/etc and they have usually bought afte4r that.
was a bit reluctant to come with me but is now a fully fledged Morgan convert.
You can also talk about the added shopping opportunities for Morgan clothing, trips out etc...
