Another great day out in the M3W.

This was the first time doing the “Twisted Sisters” in the 3 wheeler.
For those interested in these famous riding roads see: http://www.ridermagazine.com/travel-feat...amous-trio.htm/
Total run today was 200+ miles with lots of sunshine at 90f + temperatures.

Stopped, and visited with Allan Johncock [owner, curator, mechanic, tour guide, former racer, gentleman, and all around good guy] at the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum in Vanderpool, Texas.
We talked motorcycles for more than two hours until Mrs. Spirit said she wanted to go for some food and drink.

Once again the M3W performed flawlessly.
Pushed it pretty hard around the twisty mountain roads, very exhilarating.
I just love this thing.

Interesting, I saw that the HD replacement doesn't seem to have any.

But if we take out the bobbins (silent blocks) I guess the dealers won't honour the warranty on the rectifier any more?

I was lucky, I had spare bobbins with me, so just changed the one that had sheared
