It wouldn't tempt me, but I was tempted by a replica D Type that was on our ferry to LMC. I was lovely, all alloy body, 3.4 Jag engine (from a Mk 2) and a real credit to the owner.
I am sure that an owner of a real one would sniff, but with only 18 Factory + 53 Customer cars as the total build, originals are as rare as hens teeth.

I can understand that. I rather like Roger Williams' SS100 replicas.
