Mine (on a 4seater) was fitted by Shaun at Allon Whites, he did a superb job, he even put some around the side screen turn buttons, I asked for the area alongside the step rubbers on the front wings to be covered as my wife regularly catches there with her heel, all done for the standard cost which back in 2008 was around £350 from memory. I had at least 2 quite deep cuts in the defendall on the front from large stones but the paint underneath was unmarked. Certainly saved me a frontal part re spray when I sold the car, well worth it. The edge sometimes showed a white line after polishing but a. Sideways wipe, if that makes sense, soon removes that. I would have it done again, well worth it.

I didn't have it on my old 4/4 but it was already applied to my Plus 4, wasn't keen at first to be honest, less area to lovingly wax during those long winter Sunday's..... and I have a scuff on OS wing that won't come off BUT.... got clipped by an impatient motor bike couple of weeks ago at traffic lights, despite what sounded like a loud 'clump' he seems to have bounced off the film guard and left hardly no mark at all. So I reckon it is worth it although some may prefer the natural classic look without....

Only had my car for a few months. Williams arranged for it to be fitted on leading face of front and rear wings, the running boards ( No tread rubbers fitted) and round the Rad cowl. Very good job done as the others have said the edge mark can be visible. One wing taken a good hit leaving a tiny invisible mark in the plastic. Was best part of £500 and I think worth every penny.

I don't believe it costs anything like that here (Oz).

Had it fitted to my 2014 4/4. Too early to tell if it 'works'. But it was fitted to all front exposed body parts and with incredible detail - like round the Morgan wings above the grille, and between the headlights and bonnet.

The best bit is it's informally called an invisible carbra. If you want to know what a carbra looks like see here! http://www.carbra.com.au

Just too bad they don't make one for a Mog!!!

Thanks for all the info - I have been googling just this topic - intend to have my 4/4 done - sounds like Allon White or Williams. laugh2

Many thanks for all your comments, it seems to make sense having it fitted. Cheers.

It seems I am not alone in finding the Search facility on this site very difficult to use.
