Mateo, Lovely Aero example, not seen that colour before. You might check the Aero 8 register for the various blue shades. http://aero8register.weebly.com/Jealous of you side pipes, only available on the Series 2, GTN and beyond. I note also some big side reflector/indicators not standard on the UK version, must be for US safety regulations. Have fun.

Mateo, congratulations. You are going to have to schedule +20% on most drives and learn to have your photo taken a lot ! It's fun in England so it must be nuts in the US when people see it.
Our S2 is chassis 286 from the same small batch of S2 that they made. It does look a very similar tone from the photos. Jaguar Silverlake Blue Metallic is the colour of ours. It is a silver colour but with a real blue tone to it.
If you email Morgan they should have the records and are generally very helpful.
You are going to make a lot of new friends ! Best wishes.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Mateo - A few things from what you say: AC - Yep, the SS does the same thing. Either low end throttle stabs or pressing on a bit.
Photos - Expect it all the time - and can be hugely frustrating if you are on cruise control (if fitted) and you have to flick it off because the car passing is paying more attention to the car than the overtake.
NJT - Is 85mph legal? Or possible with traffic? Last time I was on it traffic was pretty heavy and only really managed around 75mph. Mind you I was coming down from NJ on the Thursday evening before memorial weekend!
Aeros are wonderful beasts - so enjoy

Aeros are wonderful beasts - so enjoy The AC light: I've just started calling it the decibel meter. Dodgy electronics are all part of the contract [or so I've started telling myself]. NJT: most certainly NOT legal but at 75 it feels like you're putting around in a golf cart! It IS a wonderful beast---nothing quite like it. I have a few small project to take on: 1. Sorting a maddening squeak between the dash and the glass. 2. Getting a better seal on the roof. *Hopefully both are well within my abilities. Cheer-MR

If it is an indicated 85, and yours is anything like mine, it will be an actually 75 (or near as damned it)
150kmh on cruise is an actual 135kmh according to the navi!

Thanks to Alistair I spent a hugely enjoyable morning experiencing the Aero effect.
Everything you say is so true: would I change my roadster for one? No: the Roadster, on all season tyres, is a usable daily drive. I'm not sure the Aero is (but would like to put it to the test). Would I seek out an Aero as a second Morgan if I had the free money? Very possibly.
