SS fixings are fine, never had one come loose on bike or car, but... not suitable for EVERY application, some SS has low tensile strength so not always suitable. On my Velo they do some lovely SS bolts to go through the cyl head and barrel, look nice but stretch like anything so everyone uses steel ones as per original.

Well you lot you are more than welcome to pop over here and clean mine. I came back through the mother of storms yesterday and couldn't stop but I was only wet on my shorts where the rain had pooled after running off my Barbour so not bad at all. The storm got a lot worse later and was quite scary. I think the aero screens meant I had a clearer view than if I had been using the wipers. Anyway my studio is flooded so the Mog will have to wait - unless you all want to pop over and clean it.

After a great drive out this morning with Caroline and a leasurly lunch out on the patio I spent the afternoon washing, drying, polishing and generally pampering Aldermog, whilst listening to TMS on the new DAB Radio.

Poor Indian Cricket Team....(look for crocadile tears). The highlights this evening should be good.

To be honest life doesn't get much better!!

Yes, I even polished the exhaust pipe ends.....as well as the other bits mentioned, and the inside of the bonet and used a detailing spray one the airbox and other plastic bits under the bonet. ....

OCD? I'm learing,.....
