Seems that are few options are no longer available from the factory due to incompatability issues/fiting problems. Parking sensors and paint protection film are off the menu. They are hoping to have a decent antenna option that doesn't require drilling the bodywork soon as well.

Anyway, the spec is in with the exception of the final colour as I am going to visit the factory once they have heard back from Glasurite about the matt and silk clearcoats.

I'm also going to supply my own wheels because I don'y like the standard wheel. Now I just have to find the wheels of my dreams in 8.5 by 18 or 8.5 by 19. I thought I had what I needed but they don't make the wheel in those sizes.

Aero 681 had Paint Protective Film fitted by the dealer - the price was included in the spec, but things do change. thumbs

I've been looking a paint film recently and we now seem to have a choice of materials, some of which are described a "self healing".

Need to replace the film on the running boards but a I can't find a local fitter so its a DIY job. Ordered the film for an aero only to discover its the wrong size. So need to take the car over to allowe them to produce a template. frown2

I'll sell you my S2 wheels if you like - I'm hankering for 19's still. Question is as you say which ones?

The Aeromax wheel is nice and made by VOLKs.

I'm personally loving the 'aerblade' style lorinser alloy (SLR wheel) though I worry they would be a bit on the heavy side.

Shooter - Defendall is Morgan's preferred supplier. I believe that Morgan dropped Defendall from the options list as they couldn't fit it too well. It is a ballache to fit properly. Anyway, Defendall was fitted to an Aero 8 and Aeromax by RPM Morgan at the factory recently and therefore must have been commissioned by the factory or it couldn't have been done there.

Also, Defendall's success at becoming OEM supplier to Morgan actually drove the factory to asking Russell Paterson to become a Morgan dealer in the first place. So I suppose it is good stuff.

Let us know how you get on / what you choose to fit.

PS - I have no affiliation to Russell Paterson Morgan. Other than I like the guy, his mechanic, ohh - his wife is hot too and he restored my Plus 8. :-)
