hopefully Robin is at peace now, demons can be hard to overcome and some succumb, he will be remembered for a long time, parallels with Peter Sellers I think.

grouphug to both

Indeed, so many really funny people have succumbed. Very sad.
Live at the Met was a favourite of mine... Theatre critic in one of the New York dailies describing Robin Williams as being like a "demented dwarf careering around the stage" (or words to that effect!).

Guess its worth remembering that the larikin exterior does not always reflect what is going on inside, in fact it may be the mask one creates. An absolutely brilliant wit gone too early.

Indeed a moment of loss for everyone in his family, friends and those of us outside who enjoyed watching his wonderfully crazy work.

I like the comment above w.r.t. Peter Sellers as well. Being There and Dead Poets Society remain two of my most highly respected films. Many layers of entertainment outside of just simple laughter.

If there is a heaven then we should be able to hear the laughter fairly shortly.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
