Just got back yesterday - with accompanying severe back ache. 900 miles in a Morgan is not the most comfortable experience.
You need an inflatable lumbar support! It has transformed my seats comfort on long trips.

Just got back yesterday - with accompanying severe back ache. 900 miles in a Morgan is not the most comfortable experience.
You need an inflatable lumbar support! It has transformed my seats comfort on long trips. I fixed mine with two pieces of 2"x4" foam 8" long stuffed behind each seat in the lumbar area.

Didn't drive Ruby today as I was working, but did get to drive an Audi R 8  Prefer the Morgan

No, had to go with  to look at the dreaded kitchen tiles and cookers and so on for the impending kitchen saga.  a bit of a damage limitation exercise.

Did you manage to persuade to accompany you in the Mog on the trip down ? Or did she make other arrangements ? Our trip down last year was brilliant. Route National all the way including the Route Napoléon, and we stayed at some fabulous hostelries on the way there and back. The Gorge de Verdon was also a worthwhile detour. If you're still down there, I can highly recommend the "Le Clos Saint Pierre" restaurant in Rouret near Opio. Wife and children flew down and I hired a car in Nice for them.... Just got back yesterday - with accompanying severe back ache. 900 miles in a Morgan is not the most comfortable experience. Stopped in Troyes and would highly recommend this place, apparently a few Morgan owners use it: http://www.domainedelacreuse.fr To be honest driving 900 miles with one stop in anything isn't fun. I'm surprised you have any hearing left, too!

 Amazing drive today from Cáceres to Toledo via Zorita and Naverhermosa and the back roads. The lowland sections had long straights with sweeping bends and a few frighteners thrown in, and the mountain sections were miles of hairpins. Plus there was zero traffic on it. Heaven.
