Some more heater quadrant and dash wiring!

A few more photos of the reverse of the instrument panel on the 3.0 Roadster showing the heater quadrant and the close proximity of the multi wire flat cable that feeds into the circuit board behind the panel warning lights etc. The black tape was put on to prevent any damage to the cable which is quite delicate.

Hope they all make sense!

I had the dash off this morning and discovered that the quadrant was completely dry ( no grease ) and was virtually seized. A dab of ACF 50 on the cable and quadrant greased, I now have 5 clicks and a working heater control.

The cable was well clear of the quadrant, so no problems there.

Thanks to TMers for their pics and advice.

Neil cheers
