Madrid to Zaragoza. Did the first bit on the motorway but once clear of Madrid we reverted to the excellent Spanish back roads. We've actually seen some clouds today.

I hope you are going to do a complete write-up when you get back. It sounds like a great trip and the photos you are publishing are fantastic.
PS. Are you absolutely sure you can't make it to Caramulo for the first weekend in September

You really must stop trying to tempt me like this, you'll get me the sack.
Fantastic town, Zaragoza. We stayed there just across the Plaza from the Basilica for a few days a couple of years ago. In fact we will be passing by on our way to Caramulo
Don't miss doing a visit of the Roman remains under the Plaza. Well worth the visit.
Boring day again - just to golf club! I did come away with a Morgan sheepskin jacket though.... A new member saw my car there last Tuesday and offered it to me for sale. He sold hid Mog several years ago and no longer an owner. It's in excellent condition with a numbered metal badge inside. Luckily my golf winnings kitty helped pay for it!
Zaragoza to Pamplona. Zaragova has more traffic lights than any city I've ever driven in: there's literally a set every hundred yards, some of which stay on red for ages for no discernible reason. The rest of the drive was ace.

You've obviously never been to Bristol, they have the most confusing road system I have ever encountered. Even my GPS THREW IN THE TOWEL.
