With throttle bodies it is also important not to have any pressure on the throttle when you turn on the ignition and you must wait for the pre-start checks to complete. The Omex ECU registers the zero throttle position every time you turn it on so if you have your foot on the throttle the zero position registered will be wrong. I don't think that applies to the standard setup.
Thanks Peter for this info. More by luck than anything else I have not yet had an issue - but I bet it was only a matter of time before I cocked it up, as two of my other cars require a tickle and a bootful of throttle respectively on cold start.
