Superb, thanks for taking the time to write up your adventure. Your written English is so good, as well, I think better than mine, and I am an Englishman!
Also great that Mrs. Mario could share the whole journey with you, and that you have both 'bonded' with the little car.
I'm sure we will look forward to reading of the "Further Adventures of Mario" in due course.

Ferries don't have rooms but they have cabins that you could take your M3W in bits to. All my luggage seemed enough on DFDS. Mario's wife is a demon packer but my wife and I take much too much

Hi Mario, even the recap was great, I really enjoyed reading it. I hope that the exhaust issue was the only you get with your car and that you can make miles and miles of road ahead... Cheers

Wonderful update Mario. Ref your fuel gauge problems, the one fitted to my 2012 plus 8 is just as bad. Now about that grease gun, you have work to do.

Mario, about that grease gun.... As reccomebded by Aldermog, she likes the gentle way it grips her nipples... Grease Gun Reccomended by me to, easy to use. Easier still if you take the wheels off, clean them, grease the front end and then the job is done. How often? I do it every 3 months, ignore the actual miles. At about 5000 miles a year it works out that in the summer it is about 1500 miles, in the winter every 700 or so. Not an exact science. How much: At the top 5 shots, at the lower until new grease appears at the top of hte lower spring. One important point: don't let excess grease build up on the lower springs, it can easily get on the disk. Not reccomended... I use the Wurth Lithium Moly grease, a 400g cartridge lasts a year or more.
