+4 Restoration
Here's the car in the rough. Does anybody have some influence with Holden? I have been trying to get information on the trimmed and untrimmed bucket seats for +4s with the Moss box to no avail. The seats are on their website. Thanks. Dick

Good luck with the project, our 1952 looked much the same a few months ago, now it's in labelled zip lock bags like a crime scene.
Take heaps of pictures.

The car has spent it's entire life in California. Only a touch of rust on one of the wings. Chassis is solid. Wood is fine..just a little bit on one of the sills should be replaced. We sourced a close ratio box from a XK120. Although I will have the original wings it will have alloy cycle wings in the beginning. Narrow wings in the rear. The engine has been "breathed on" by a successful racer/ builder. Hoping to get 140- 150 hp In road/ rally trim. I had a Vincent Black Shadow before so I have to have something that is just as fast. My wife has a '72 4/4 4 pass for putting around in. Dick
if it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

We are sourcing the bucket seats from Rutter. Holden can go pound sand...or maybe do something with a duck! Dick
