Congratulations David & +4  If you are taking a gentle run West from BHM, get them to give you a nice little B-road run that avoids a chunk of the A25(?) and brings you close to Gatwick. Usually almost empty and a nice twisty Bike/Morgan type road...

Thanks, Ma. Hope your search is successful. You will have seen on the Forum that they say the car will find you, well I think that is true. I was really considering a new one for the middle of next year, although I had been looking on the second hand market as well. When I found this one, I just fell for it, and especially as it has every extra I could have wished for. Can't wait...... What extras have you got on your Mog as I'm not sure exactly what is on there at the beginning and what is added as extra ? Looking forward to the pics !

... I have at last bought a Morgan!
...next Thursday I pick up my 2005 55 Reg Morgan Plus 4 in Jaguar Crimson Imperial Red.
It is a real beaut - and I can't wait to get my hands on it and enjoy the 200 mile drive home (avoiding as many motorways as possible... Congrats David. My advice, if you're not in a hurry to get back to Cheshire, is to get a portable SatNav and set it to "avoid motorways". It'll take you 30-50% longer in time to get home, but you'll go along some proper Morgan roads rather than boring (but fast) motorway miles. (I always set mine to "avoid m'ways" when I am contemplating motorway driving to give me the option to dive off if there's congestion ahead near an exit. Get to go down some lovely lanes from time to time). Cheers
