Icy roads up ahead... A short trip around town before the roads gets icy - we expect snow in 4 - 5 weeks but a lot of frost before that. These pictures are taken just a few blocks away from the city center of Östersund.

Nice to see you can still get out, I spent one week a month in Gothenburg for just over 14 years and know it can get cold this time of the year even in the south so mid country I guess you use every day you can. I guess Winter tyres and Morgans don't really mix ;-). Safe miles

We had a very long and warm summer with lots of wonderful top-down trips, but 'it's all over now' as Mick J sings. Östersund is almost 800 km north of Gothenburg and not so far from the mountains in the west with raindeers and bears. The winters here can be quite harsh. I have actually seen a thermometer in real life showing -49 Celsius and that's seriously cold... brrr. No winter tyres this year Richard: Thanks, my Samsung phone is not that bad after all I tried to make the bonnet look loooong... NorthernMogman: If I could choose I would say no too...
