The replacement cost about £300 at the local agents - I was too fat at the time to get under it on car ramps !! I like others used it sparingly after that - the 4/4 Sport uses tywraps up inside the transmission tunnel which means it's an every thing out job, seats and tunnel apparently. So that's a Yes

I'm a drive it and then clean it sort of person.
I must admit that I have recently cleaned off 4,000 km worth of Spanish, Portuguese, and French bugs, plus a few Italian. Big mistake! I should have cleaned them off while they were still fresh. First I washed the car, then attacked the bug residue with a special cleaner then I rinsed off the previously bug spattered area and gave it all a good wax and shine.
Phew! Makes me tired just to relate the story.

I did most of myself over a weekend but was stuck getting the cable ends into the drums...the only dealer bit. It was a hub off job for Mike Duncan A warning note to everyone, there was a bad batch of cables around 2010-11 and the outer cable can crack at the bends by the backplate, letting in moisture and rusting through the steel coil in the outer cover. This eventually rubs through the brake cable. It's worth checking for cracks and wrapping some tape around the cable at that spot.

[ quote=Mike Hughes] I'm a drive and clean as we go,.... and bottom is cleaned when necessary. Too much information [/quote] That's when it gets hairy, I mean, then bottom cleaning can become necessary

I've done 7,500 miles now although I do mainly use the approved chocks under the back wheels when in the garage. Thanks for the tip Jays.

Very true my other preoccupation other than my family is Church Bell Ringing and the Wooden arresting Stay is always fashioned out of Ash due to the nature of it's tensile strength and flexibility - small world this English traditional one - I have some of this ageing in my garage so I shall correct the wheel chock asap from the next offcut

Perhaps some tread rubbers on the underside for extra grip and a nice Morgan logo on the top - these could be sold though the MMC shop...
