Somehow it's far more exhilarating and you end up with a red glow for a couple of days with the wind burn  Agree with you about the scenery Roger

Keep it ready to use in the winter!
Don't worry about wet days, but avoid salty wet days.
Use a CTEK battery conditioner, as above.
Heated seats are great! (See Allon-White)
The heater is powerful on newer cars.
Warm clothes, hat, and gloves.
Have fun! It's what you bought the car for, surely?

Drive it, don't store it.......I manage at least two trips per month even in January and Feb.

Hygroscopic - and 'common salt' only absorbs a little atmospheric moisture. Sodium sulphate absorbs more but I would strongly advise against using any chemicals - you have a large and readily active battery when aluminum panels and galvanized steel meet anything liquid and conductive...........Al + Zn + Fe + H2O = FIZZ

I also but a large bowl of salt inside the car cheaper than a Dehumidifiers Is it "Hydroscopic" or "Hygroscopic"? Which one do you put on chips as that the one I use

Meant to be a good day, weather wise. My local chippie doesn't rate the Wee Hurrie, said he was served by a 20 year old and the chips were dripping.
