Can I tempt you a bit? I have put together a composite chart from one published by Morgan and chart published on Facebook for the Omex Throttle Body kit and for the TB kit plus Omex cams. As you can see it develops nearly 200 hp with the cams and actually more than the SS at the same revs. The SS with variable cams wins out at low to mid range however. The two cars were also fitted with Williams sports exhaust system I believe. [/quote]

The graphs are interesting Peter and confirm what I have always felt that there is a dip in torque at around 3000 revs. This is especially noticeable in 5th. Stop tempting me with those TB's Titus

The interesting thing there is that 3,000 rpm is the engine speed used for the "fast idle" in the MOT or equivalent emission tests.
I wonder if the map is "adjusted" to ensure the engine passes the test.

I was talking to a fellow TM about Williams, could you send your ECG to them to get remapped or is there more work on the engine to be done
Very much in the dog house, could be up for rehoming
